Fresh Hop Garlands are approximately 9 feet in length and will arrive at your door 24 hours after they have been picked in The Garden of England.

They will arrive individually packed in a box, with hanging instructions - They MUST BE TAKEN OUT of the box and hung IMMEDIATELY.
Ordering
Orders must be received by 31st August every year and we take orders for fresh hops during the months of July and August.
Delivery dates are difficult to predict as the date we harvest depends on the weather and we have many customers to supply.
However, we aim to deliver either the last week of August or the first week of September: if you prefer one week to another,
please let us know and we will endeavour to meet your requirements.
Unfortunately we can take no responsibility for fresh hops that deteriorate and go mouldy, if they have been delivered but not taken out of the box straight away.
Delivery
If you cannot take delivery between the date of 24th August and 5th September, we must recommend the dried garlands
which can be delivered at a time convenient to yourself and stored until you are ready to put them up.

A hop garland is a natural product and will arrive at your door, cut direct from the hop garden. This means that although we spend tremendous amounts of time and money keeping the garland free of any creepy crawlies before we send it to you, we cannot guarantee we will not supply you with some free livestock!!
Please do not panic – these insects will not affect anything else in the house but will simply die and drop off in the first couple of days that the garland is in situ.
The shape of the garland may also be uneven; i.e. one end of the garland is the top with more hops on, and the other is the bottom, that has more leaf and stalk. To create a nice even garland, the best displays have been cut and trimmed to fit and there is always be some waste!!
Please put down a protective covering on the floor before you begin to arrange, as the lupulin that sheds during handling is difficult to remove from floors and surfaces.
Once the garland is in place, it should not shed of its own accord.
If you would like more advice, please do contact us, particularly if you have not handled hops before.
PLEASE REMEMBER, fresh hops will not keep in the box. Once delivered they must be hung immediately, where they are to be displayed. They will then dry naturally to form a rigid arrangement.
Lifetime
Hop garlands are traditionally displayed for a year and replaced with a fresh garland each harvest.
Hops fade to a lovely soft, harvest cream colour gradually over the year. Direct sunlight will accelerate this process.
Remember hops are a dried product and are very fragile so should be placed away from any physical contact.
