Hops for decoration

The hop harvest starts late August so orders placed now will be held until then before they are paid for and despatched. Delivery will then be at the end of August/beginning of September. We will email you nearer the time to remind you.

FRESHLY PICKED HOPS are delivered to you aproximately between the 24th August and 12th September. They must be hung in situ as soon as you receive them. Once hung in position, they dry beautifully in the shape you require.

Following harvest we shall have freshly DRIED HOP GARLANDS available. Delivery will be from mid September.

These hops are kiln dried and can be stored for use at anytime throughout the year. Each dried hop garland will arrive individually boxed, with detailed hanging instructions. The garlands naturally taper towards one end so need a little fiddling ansd tweeking once in place, to get looking nice and even. Do ring 01227 830666 if you need advice.

If you are desparate for dried hops before the 2010 harvest, we do still have dried hops available. However they are old season and the quality is not as good as we would like, they are faded in colour and very fragile. However it is all we have available until we start this year's harvest. For this reason, if you are these last season hops, we will send 2 x boxes for every 1 x hop you order. This way, you can cut the best from each box, to make sure you have enough. Please be aware - they will shed petals as you handle them and there will be alot of waste.

We do recommend ringing us to discuss your requirements just to make sure you know exactly what you might receive. You must be aware these older dried hops are faded in colour and are very fragile, there will be alot of petal drop and waste when you hang them. If in doubt, we would recommend waiting until this years hop harvest has been picked.
